Dems pulling out all the stops

Yes, the left is about to have a stroke over this nomination and are going to do everything they can to stop it.

Democrats still can’t believe Donald Trump won the presidency. Even with the real collusion of the election taking place at the highest levels of the FBI, Trump still prevailed.
Ever since his election, Dems have spun the Russian collusion story in an ongoing effort to discredit Trump. Nearly two years in, they still haven’t gotten the job done and most likely never will.
I’m a regular viewer of the commentary shows on Fox News that support the president. But I also turn the channel to CNN to see where the left is coming from and see what the attack of the day is.
On a regular basis, the Dems throw out issues in their ongoing attacks on President Trump—hoping that something will gain traction. They’ve tried it all—from the Mueller investigation to foreign relations and negotiations with Korea to global trade and tariffs, and most recently, to immigration issues with young children being separated from their parents who have entered the U.S. illegally.
Since Trump announced his latest Supreme Court nominee Monday night, those other things have all dropped off the radar.
Now, the Democrats are launching an all-out offensive and smear campaign in an effort to defeat Trump’s nominee—Brett Kavanaugh, a conservative with more than 10 years of experience as a federal appeals court judge.
The Dems, joined by their left-leaning media friends, are absolutely stir crazy that Kavanaugh could be named to the Supreme Court. Apoplectic is how they’re described on Fox News.
That’s now a new word in my vocabulary since I know how to spell it and how to say it (apəˈ'plektik). And if you’re wondering, it means “overcome with anger; extremely indignant; relating to stroke.”
Yes, the left is about to have a stroke over this nomination and are going to do everything they can to stop it.
But with a majority in the Senate, Republicans can still get the nomination approved, assuming they stick together as strong for it, as the Democrats will against it. And who knows, since it’s an election year, maybe a Dem or two will jump ranks.
Trump has already appointed one Supreme Court justice, in Neil Gorsuch. A second appointment will likely change the composition of the court to a more conservative bent for a generation to come. Plus, he could possibly get one more opportunity as president, especially if he gets re-elected in 2020 (another unfathomable thought for Democrats).
One thing’s for sure—it’s going to make good theater over the next several months.
