Babies continue to be at risk

It’s been 46 years since Roe vs. Wade legalized abortion in this country, and shamefully, millions of babies have lost their lives. Now, as some of our more liberal politicians fear a more conservative U.S. Supreme Court is on the horizon, efforts are intensifying to loosen state laws even more to terminate the lives of babies all the way until the mother is in labor.
    You just have to look at New York and Virginia as examples.
    New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered the World Trade Center lit in pink after his state passed more liberal abortion laws.
    The New York bill moves abortion from the state’s criminal code into public health law, and legalizes it after 24 weeks if a woman’s health is at risk or if a fetus is not viable. State law previously allowed abortions after 24 weeks only if the woman’s life was in jeopardy. The new law now also allows nurse practitioners, PAs and licensed midwives to provide abortions.
