Always plenty to be thankful for

It’s easy to get short-sighted and dwell on the challenges of our lives and overlook the many things we have to be thankful for.

All too often, we get so wrapped up in our daily lives that we lose sight of all the wondrous blessings that God has bestowed upon us.
    It’s easy to get short-sighted and dwell on the challenges of our lives and overlook the many things we have to be thankful for. Stop reading this now and think about the things you’re thankful in your own life.
    When I do that, I’m especially thankful for my health—without your health…  .
    I’m thankful my wife, Lori, has recovered from having skin cancer removed from under her eyelid that led to having her eye sewn shut for more than six weeks. I’m pretty sure she’s thankful for that too, as she’s come back to health.
