Zak Anderson medals at State Golf

    Freshman Zak Anderson was the only qualifier from Chase County Schools to make the trip to Grand Island, Wednesday and Thursday, May 28-29, for the State Golf Tournament, held at Jackrabbit Run Golf Course. This course is a par 72.
    Anderson shot a 77 both days for a 154 total, to claim a share of 15th place. There were six other golfers that also carded a 154. Nash Malone, a junior from Kearney Catholic, won the class C title, shooting a five under 139.
