Wrestlers split duals with Kimball, Hershey

Chase County’s wrestlers closed out their pre-Christmas schedule with a pair of duals Tuesday Dec. 18, followed by the make-up tourney at Broken Bow.
In dual action, the Longhorns took a 64-18 win over Kimball, who only brought wrestlers in six weight classes.
Longhorns getting wins against Kimball wrestlers included Brit Gockley at 126, Mikael Kuhlman at 160 and Evan Fisher at 195.
The Hershey dual was more evenly matched in terms of forfeits and open weight classes.
Only two Longhorns gained wins on the mat with Trevor Peterson, 170, and Travis Rowley, 285, each won with pins.
