W/P Bronco Football Team opens with win

    The Bronco Football Team opened the season on the road to Big Springs, to take on the South Platte Blue Knights Friday, August 29.
    The Broncos racked up 294 yards rushing, coupled with 64 yards passing, while holding the Blue Knights to 159 rushing yards and 135 in the air in the 44-28 Bronco victory.
    Kreyton Wiese had 237 yards rushing, 101 return yards  and 35 receiving yards and scored six touchdowns. Casey Walker accounted for the rest of the scoring on after touchdown conversions.
    David Bryner led the defense with 11 tackles, followed by Wiese with 9, Ayden Baker 8, Dravin Miner 7 and Noah Sandman 6.
    Next up for the Broncos will be Fleming, Friday, Sept. 5 at 6:00 MT in Wauneta. Fleming lost their opening game.
