The Boys Basketball Team won two out of it’s last three games of the regular season, before they head into the D2-10 Sub-District Tournament to face (9-11), Creek Valley in the first round of the tournament in Wallace.
Friday, Feb. 21, the Broncos welcomed the Arthur County Wolves to town for the final regular season game. The wolves had a record of 6-11 going into the game.
The Broncos were able to out score the Wolves in every quarter to secure the win, 57-47, giving the Broncos a final regular season record of 3-17.
Senior Ashton Wheeler had a great night offensively for the Broncos, scoring 27 points securing six rebounds and had four steals. Aden Acton also scored in double digits with 14 and pulled down 15 rebounds.

On Monday night, Feb. 24, the boys played Creek Valley in the opening round of sub-districts. The first time the two teams met, back on December 6, Creek Valley took the win, 43-57. This time around, the Broncos ended the Storm’s season, handing them a 38-34 loss.
That moves the Broncos into the second round where they will face the number one seed, Wallace Wildcats, on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Monday, Wheeler led the scoring again with 19, followed by Hiett with 11. Acton pulled down 18 rebounds to go with his seven points in the game.
