W/P boys B-Ball starts 0-2

It was a rough start for the W/P High School Boys B-Ball Team, dropping both games over the weekend.
On Thursday night, the Broncos hosted the Wallace Wildcats. The Wildcats jumped on the Broncos early and never looked back.
After the first quarter, the Wildcats led 4-24 and they increased that lead to 9-45 by halftime. Wallace called off the dogs in the secon half, winning the game 19-53.
On Friday, the Broncos traveled to face the Creek Valley Storm. In a much closer game, the Broncos came up on the wrong end of a 29-53 score, dropping their record to 0-2.
Next action is the Cattle Trail Tournament in McCook on Dec. 9, 12 and 13.
