Winners advance in free throw contest sponsored by Knights

Eight youths are on their way to the next level of competition in the Knights of Columbus sponsored free throw shooting contests.
The Imperial Knights hosted the local contest Sunday at the CCS auxiliary gym, which drew 13 participants.
Youths were challenged to shoot their best of 15 free throws. Boys and girls competed in separate divisions for nine to 14-year-olds.
First place winners will move on to the district contest at the school in Wauneta on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 12:30 p.m. Winners at districts move on to regionals and possibly the state contest.
