Trevor Peterson third at state wrestling

    Heartbreak rounds in district and state wrestling meets mean just that—win and your either guaranteed a trip to state or ensure yourself of earning a medal at state; lose and you’re done.
    In districts last year, the heartbreak round dealt Trevor Peterson a blow when he narrowly missed a trip to state after coming back from a broken arm.
    This year, he and Evan Fisher survived the heartbreak round to advance to state.
    The heartbreak round at last week’s state meet in Omaha dealt out both jubilation and disappointment for Peterson and Fisher.
