Three seniors named to SPVA all-conference volleyball first team

    The three seniors on Chase County’s varsity volleyball team showed how key they were to this year’s successful season.
    All three were named to the first team in last week’s SPVA all-conference voting.
    CCS seniors Mallie McNair, Sophie Spady and Ashley Bubak joined three others from Hershey, St. Pat’s and Sutherland on the first team list selected by the conference coaches.
    Here is the full list of the 2019 SPVA all-conference team and honorable mentions.
First team
Chase County—Mallie McNair, Sophie Spady, Ashley Bubak, all seniors.
Hershey—Tahlia Steinbeck, freshman.
North Platte St. Pat’s—Brooke McClellen, senior.
Sutherland—Payton Hoatson, senior.
Second team
Bridgeport—Ruthie Loomis-Goltl, freshman.
Hershey—Delaney Love, junior.
Kimball—Jenna Greenwood, senior.
North Platte St. Pat’s—Rachel Hess, junior, Jayla Fleck, sophomore.
Sutherland—Janee Elfeldt, senior.
Honorable mention
Bridgeport—Natalie Keenan-Vergil, sophomore.
Perkins County—Bella Fraizer, senior, Dani Burge, junior.
Sutherland—Faith Stewart, sophomore.
    Coaches met last week after the state high school volleyball tournament was over to make their all-conference picks.
