Silver Spurs hosts 40 for summer 4-H horse show

    Chase County’s Silver Spurs 4-H Club hosted its annual summer 4-H Horse Show June 27 with 40 contestants.  
    Judges for the day were Tim Gibbens of Gothenburg and Shaylee Heathers of Lincoln. Serving as announcers were Randy and Margene Hayes of Imperial.
    Prizes were donated by Frenchman Valley Coop, Rob See Co (Dave Oxford) and the 4-H families. Water was donated by Bomgaars. High Point prizes were sponsored by Overhead Door Specialists (Trent and Jodi Spady) and 5 Star Metal (Jason and Heidi Anderson).
    High Point winners were Junior I Sawyer Phipps, Imperial; Junior II Odessa Zadina, Enders; Intermediate Nathan Rippe, Indianola; and Senior Amber Gonzales, McCook.
