Playoff needed to determine 2-Lady Scramble champs

    Five teams shot scores of 80 in Sunday’s 2-Lady Scramble at Enders Lake Golf to force a sudden death playoff.
    In the end it was the Yuma, Colorado pair of Rhonda Wright and Iris Clarkson taking first place. Wright and Clarkson parred the first playoff hole, as did Evonne Poppe and Julie Jones and Kadi Jensen and Diane Larimer. The teams of Terry Yost and Peri Crabtree and Katie Flaig and Alex Mekelburg bogeyed the first playoff hole.
    Wright and Clarkson also scored par on the second playoff hole, while the other two teams had bogeys.
    Nine teams took part in the tourney.
