Pinnacle golfers win hospital tourney

    Members of the Pinnacle Bank #2 team finished as the winning team at the 12th Annual Chase County Hospital Foundation Slice FORE Life Golf Benefit on June 29 at the Enders Lake Golf Course.
    The team of Eric Exum, Eric McDaniel, Aaron Cyboron, and Brady Torpin topped the championship flight with a score of 57 for 18 holes.
    Two teams tied for second place with a score of 60—the Houlden Contracting Inc. team,  including Brad Houlden, Jim Pirog, Brad Spady, and Luther Thompson and the Enders Lake Golf Course team that included Matt Klima, Craig Poppe, Joe Humphrey, and Troy Space.
    First place honors in the first flight went to the combined team of Nutrien Ag’s Alex Marshall and Slater Chandler along with Beckenhauer Construction’s Joe and Buster Beckenhauer of Norfolk with a score of 66.
    Second place went to Adams Bank & Trust team consisting of John and Angie Paisley, Jeremy Mathews and Katie Flaig with a score of 68.
    Tied for 3rd place were the  Frenchman Valley Coop team, including Chris Lee, Aaron Richards, Hunter Spady, and LeeAnn Weiss, and the  Brophy Electric team including Bill Brophy, Rhonda Smith, Pete and Katie Brophy. Each team shot 69.
    Second flight honors were earned by Great Plains Communications team of Daryl Sharp, John Miller, Bruce Wheeler and Ray Wright with a score of 70.
    Second place went to Partee On with members Kara Horton and Beth Loop and their partners, Waypoint Bank with members Cody Cochran and Earl Loop with a score of 73. Third place went to Pinnacle Bank Team #1 with Lori & Kelly Beard and the team of Five Nines consisting of Jarod Daake and Ben Najera from Kearney, scoring 77.
