Peterson, Fisher at top of wrestling stat categories

    Chase County’s two qualifiers for the state wrestling tournament—junior Trevor Peterson and senior Evan Fisher—finished at or near the top of most of the statistics categories compiled for the 2018-19 season.
    Peterson, who finished third in Class C at 170, put together the best record at 46-5. He also led the team in takedowns 74, escapes with 18, technical falls with two and total team points scored.
    His 275 points were just 20.5 points ahead of the points scored by Fisher.
    Fisher finished with a 44-8 season, falling in the heartbreak round at 195.
