Longhorn Hinojosa could finish season with perfect record

On Saturday night, Chase County fans will know if Eli Hinojosa ends his senior wrestling season undefeated. After clinching the district title last week and adding more wins to a perfect season, he enters the state tournament this week with a 44-0 record. That could grow to 48-0 if he wins out this weekend in the Class C 220 lb. division in Omaha. Below, Hinojosa is en route to securing a pin over Mitchell’s Nicholas Coley in the district semi-finals Saturday, just before the ref holds up his arm as the winner, something Hinojosa’s gotten very used to this season.
