Longhorn golfers work on their game

Members of the Chase County golf team had some perfect weather conditions Tuesday to work on their game at Enders Lake Golf Course, where they were practicing on the driving range. First-year coach Jeff Gleisberg said he has 12 students out for the team this season, which opens with both a varsity and JV meet on April 3 when the varsity golfers head to Bayard and the JVs travel to Dundy Co. Stratton. Above, Coach Gleisberg works on technique with freshman Kobe Maris, while senior Brady Gittlein, a first-year team member, drives the ball. (Johnson Publications photos)
