Lady Longhorns land post-season volleyball honors

    SPVA Conference coaches met last week after conclusion of the state high school volleyball tournament to make their selections for post-season honors.
    Two Chase County junior volleyball players earned spots on the first and second All-Conference teams for 2018.
    Madison Schuller was one of six players picked for the first team, while Mallie McNair garnered second team honors. The 12 first and second team players were joined by another four players from the conference who were picked honorable mention.
    Coach Jodie Schuller said the individual  SPVA Conference coaches nominate their players for all-conference, but cannot vote for their own players when the tallying is done.
