Lady Longhorns dominate in trio of wins

Tuesday’s SPVA win sends Chase Co. to semi finals against top seed

As the Lady Longhorns traveled to Kimball Tuesday for their first round SPVA tournament game, they were probably still smiling after tallying three big wins last week.
Chase County didn’t just win last week’s games against So. Valley, Perkins County and Gothenburg. They dominated.
On Jan. 8, the Lady Longhorns downed So. Valley by 45 points, then beat Perkins County and Gothenburg Thursday and Friday by 40-point margins.
Coach Mark Bottom said it was a good week.
And, after this Tuesday’s 49-25 first round tournament win against Kimball, the Lady Longhorns will now face top-seeded North Platte St. Pat’s in the SPVA semi-finals Friday at 5:30 p.m. MT at North Platte Community College.
