Lady Longhorns basketball season concludes

During the week of February 17th, the Chae County Girls’ basketball regular season had concluded and the district tournament began. The original dates were changed multiple times due to weather conditions. The games were then changed to the dates of 19th, 20th, and 22nd.
On the first day of the tournament, the Lady Longhorns played Mitchell on the 19th. After the game commenced, the girls claimed the victory with a score of 57 - 25. With this significant win, they advanced in the tournament and were guaranteed at least one more game.
On the 20th of February, the Longhorns traveled to play the Indians at Bridgeport once again. Once the game was over, the Indians claimed the win by 12 points. The final score was 42 - 30. Since Ogallala won this game, the Chase County Girls season was announced over. Since Ogallala won this game, the Chase County Girls’ season came to an end. The Lady Longhorns finished the 2024-25 season with a final record of 16 wins and 9 losses.
