Lady Longhorns’ record even after finishing 4th at Lexington Invite

Chase County sported a 3-3 record early this week in volleyball as the varsity looks forward to a full week of practice before their next outing.
It was a busy week of games for Chase County after playing two Sept. 3 at McCook, then playing three matches at the Lexington tourney Saturday where they finished fourth.
After hosting Yuma, Colorado on Tuesday this week, the Lady Longhorns will be idle until Tuesday next week when they travel to Julesburg, Colorado to face Sedgwick County.
Last year, when Sedgwick was new on the Chase County schedule, the Lady Longhorns came away with a straight-set win at home.
This year, Chase County will travel to Sedgwick County for C, JV and varsity matches in Julesburg. The C match starts the day of volleyball off at 4 p.m.
McCook, Minden matches
Chase County won both matches against McCook and Minden. McCook hosted the triangular the day after Labor Day.
It took three close ones to beat Minden, who is 6-3 this week, but Chase County took the win 25-23, 24-26 and 25-18.
