Lady Broncos add two more wins

    The Lady Bronco basketball team made it a four game winning streak over the weekend. On Thursday night, the Broncos beat Medicine Valley, 49-41 and then Friday night beat Sutherland 52-36.
    In Thursday’s game, the Broncos held the Raiders to just 10 first half points and led 21-10 at the break. That was enough cushion to get the win.
    Kamryn Fanning led the Broncos scoring with 14, while Izzy Stehno added 10. McKenna Doetker pulled down nine boards and Mesa Cox and Stehno were credited with eight rebounds.
    Friday against Sutherland, it was the third quarter that blew the game wide open. The Broncos led by one at halftime, 24-23,  before putting up 19 points in the third period and holding the Sailors to just two.
    That allowed for a comfortable win over the Sailors, improving the Broncos record to 9-10 with one more game in the regular season against Maywood/Hayes Center on Valentines Day.
