JV boys, C team add wins to season

The Longhorn JV boys picked up a pair of wins last week in home matches against Haxtun, Colorado and Hershey.
On Jan. 28, CCS beat Haxtun, 47-23.
Leading scorers against the Bulldogs were Kade Anderson and Jake German, each with 11 points.
Also scoring were Brandon Mintling, Carter Leibbrandt,Tysen Lempke, Colin O’Neil, Chase Rowley, Nikolas Rau and Keenan Cole.

Hershey JV
The JVs hosted Hershey on Saturday, winning the contest, 61-36.
German led offensively, adding 18 points to the scoreboard.
Also scoring were Cole, Anderson, Mintling, Lempke, Emmitt Zuege, Rowley, Rau and Ryan Bernhardt.

C team vs. Hershey
The Longhorn C team also played against Hershey at home last weekend.
Chase County won, 39-34.
Rau was the leading scorer for the C squad, scoring 16 points for Chase County.
Also scoring were Zuege and Kaden Schilke, each scoring 10.
Ricky Chapparo also sunk a three-pointer in the contest.
