JV boys’ track team places second at McCook meet

The Longhorn JV boys’ track team traveled to McCook for a JV-only meet last week.
Chase County placed second overall behind McCook in a field of 13 teams.
“It’s a good opportunity to compete with kids their age,” Head Coach Carl Zuege said.
“It’s nice to kind of get back to a little bit of their level.”
Other schools who competed at the meet included Arapahoe, Cambridge, Cozad, Gothenburg, Hitchcock County, Holdrege, Lexington, McCook, Minden, Ogallala, Perkins County and Southwest.
