Imperial’s Juniors picked up a pair of Legion baseball wins in games last week against Oshkosh.
The two Junior contests were added after the season schedule was set, said Coach Bruce Peterson. The first on July 1 was in Imperial, then the team traveled to Oshkosh two days later
In both games, Imperial took the win by the same 19-8 score.
In the home game July 1, Imperial added runs every inning in their six at-bats, scoring five and seven runs in the fifth and sixth.

Oshkosh racked up five hits in the game.
Leibbrandt earned the win. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out four and walking one. Peterson and Garner came on in relief.
On the road Friday, it was another slug fest for Imperial with nine hits overall highlighted by a three-run homer from Morel Jurado in the seventh.
Again, Imperial scored in every inning with the biggest coming in the sixth when they plated six runs. Imperial also opened the game strong with a four-run first.
Garner and Leibbrandt each doubled and singled, while Colin O’Neil had two singles. Cole and Koltar Rahn also scored singles.
Colin O’Neil was credited with the win, as he allowed four runs on five hits and struck out three in four innings on the mound. Jurado threw three innings of relief.
