Imperial 2 goes 0-1 in first game of season

The Imperial 2 pee wee team got on the dirt for their first game of the season June 24 when they hosted Wallace.
Despite a hard-fought game, Imperial 2 lost, 1-15.
In the first inning, the first three batters reached base on walks, with pitcher Lukas Fries scoring on a steal at home.
Fries’ run was the only one scored, and strikeouts and a tag-out finished the inning.
Fries finished the night with 16 walks and five strikeouts.
Upcoming games
The game against Paxton/Sutherland was scheduled for June 26 at 6 p.m., but it was postponed again and will be played at a later date.
Imperial 2 will host Grant this Friday, starting at 5 p.m.
