Imperial 2 gets big win over Ogallala 3

Imperial 2 played at Ogallala 3 Friday and blew them out of the water in a high-scoring 27-8 win.
Riley Fowler was on the mound for Imperial 2 and brought in seven strikeouts and walked three.
Offensively for Imperial 2, Lukas Fries and Evan O’Neil led with four hits each. O’Neil had four runs and Fries had three.
Also getting hits were Tyce Hammerlun, Brextin Moreno, Destry Oxford, Fowler, Braxton, Zak Anderson and Noah Rau.
Contributing to the final score in addition to Fries and O’Neil were Hammerlun, Moreno, Oxford, Fowler, Chubb, Anderson and Rau.
Imperial 2 started a game against Imperial 1 on July 8 but it was cut short due to weather.
That game was rescheduled for Wednesday.
Coming up
Imperial 2 will travel to Ogallala 1 Friday and their final game of the season will be at home vs Ogallala 2.
There will be no post-season tournament this year.
Imperial 1
Imperial 1’s only game last week was against Imperial 2 that got rained out.  The two teams played again Wednesday.
They will also host Ogallala 2 Friday at 6 p.m.
