Imperial 2 finishes season 2-5
The Imperial 2 pee wee team finished its season with a home game against Ogallala 2 on July 22.
In a high-scoring game, Ogallala 2 took the 17-11 win.
Destry Oxford had the most hits for Imperial 2 with four, and scored one run against Ogallala 2.
Brextin Moreno and Conner Stromberger also recorded multiple hits.
On the mound for Imperial 2 was Lukas Fries. He threw 17 walks and tallied seven strikeouts.
“I thought this season went really well,” Head Coach Eric McDaniel said.
“It was the first year in this league for most of the boys and they played really well against older kids in every game.”
