Imperial 1 finishes 2020 season with 7-1 record

The Imperial 1 pee wee team finished off their season with two more wins in July against Ogallala 3 and a make-up game against Grant.
Against a 27-0 win over Ogallala 3, Imperial 1 didn’t allow any hits.
Pitching for Imperial 1 was Carson Terryberry and Parker Terryberry.
Carson lasted one inning, allowing no hits and no runs while striking out three and walking none.
Parker threw three innings in relief, striking out six.
Imperial 1 scored 13 runs in the second inning, with the offense led by Carter Kuenning, Parker Terryberry, Carson Terryberry, Austin Smith, Kaden Vogt and George Colton.
Imperial 1 took another win against Grant on July 24 with an 11-2 victory.
Imperial 1’s offense in the first inning came from singles by Camron Lempke, Vogt and Westin Mendenhall, and doubles by Tristan Jablonski and Gavin Wisnieski.
Imperial 1 got on the board in the first inning when Jablonski singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
Imperial 1 scored eight runs in the fourth inning, with offense led by Lempke, Jablonski, Wisnieski, Vogt and Mendenhall.
Lempke was on the mound for Imperial 1. He allowed three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out 10.
“The kids did a great job this year and competed very well,” Head Coach Jeff Lempke said. "Ryan (Wisnieski) and I been around this group since they were in T-ball and it’s been a blast watching them improve and grow into young men,” he said.
