Hinojosa playing in June 9 West NE All-Star game

Players have been chosen for the annual West Nebraska All-Star Football and Volleyball Games in Scottsbluff June 9.
    Eli Hinojosa was the sole Chase County Schools graduated senior on the rosters for next weekend’s games. He’ll play on the West Team in the football contest.
    No one from Chase County Schools will play in the volleyball game this year.
    The 40th annual football game includes a roster of 64 players who were nominated by their respective high school coach and selected by the all-star coaches.
    Kickoff June 9 at Bearcat Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
    A portion of the proceeds from the West Nebraska All-Star Games benefit local organizations.
    While there are no Lady Longhorn players on the volleyball rosters, this is the 34th annual West Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Game. It will be played at 2 p.m. June 9 at Western Nebraska Community College’s Cougar Palace.
