Hinojosa doing well in redshirt freshman year

    Former Chase County Schools wrestling standout Eli Hinojosa, now a redshirt freshman at Chadron State College, won the heavyweight title at the Doane Open Wrestling Tournament last Saturday.  
    Hinojosa won all four of his matches by decision, upping his record to 12-3 for the season.  
    Hinojosa concluded his high school career at CCS by winning the Class C 220 lb. state championship at the Nebraska High School State Wrestling Tournament in 2018.
