Girls post 3-0 week; regular season ends Friday

North Platte St. Pat’s comes to town this week on Senior Night

Another shot at North Platte St. Pat’s arrives on Friday for the Lady Longhorn basketball team. The two teams met in the finals of the SPVA Conference Tournament Jan. 21 when St. Pat’s won the championship. With Friday the last regular season contest for the Chase County girls and also Senior Night, Coach Mark Bottom said he hopes the momentum from last week’s 3-0 record in games carries over.
He was impressed with his team’s performance last week, winning all three games, and saying, “None of them were cake walks.”“It was a good week at 3-0. I was worried we’d run out of gas but fatigue was not a factor at all for us,” he said.
