Five on volleyball all-state honorable mention lists

Five players on the 2019 Chase County Lady Longhorn volleyball team have earned post-season recognition.
On the Class C1 honorable mention list, the Omaha World-Herald included Mallie McNair, Ashley Bubak, Sophie Spady, Gisselle Acuna and Bryn McNair.
Bubak, both McNairs and Spady were also recognized as C1 honorable mentions in the Lincoln Journal Star.
Wauneta-Palisade’s Haylee Sandman earned C2 all-state second team honors in the World-Herald, and honorable mention in the Lincoln newspaper.
Other W-P honorable mentions in both the World-Herald and Journal Star were Michaela Dukes and Alexa Sandman.
