Duncan Rector representing Imperial team in Legion all-star game

The Imperial Republican
    Duncan Rector, a member of the Imperial Legion senior team, will play in the Mid-Nebraska Baseball League’s all-star game.
    The game will be played tonight (Thursday) in Kearney at the UNK field.
    He’ll play for the West Team with other all-stars from Ogallala, Broken Bow, Holdrege, Gothenburg and Cozad.
    Rector, who lives in Wauneta, has been a member of Imperial’s Legion teams for several seasons, said Head Coach Bruce Peterson who nominated Rector for the game.
    Rector, a 2019 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade Schools,  pitches for the seniors and also plays middle infield.
