Chase County girls top JV track teams in McCook

Chase County topped 12 other teams for the championship at last week’s JV track meet in McCook.
Due to several cancelled track meets this season, Coach Troy Hauxwell said he sent more than the usual number to the JV meet so the girls could get in some good meet experience.
Chase County’s girls came home with nine first place finishes.
Kamrie Dillan scored a pair of individual golds, as she outran 30 others in the 100 and 25 others in the 200.
Lucy Spady also ran strong, winning both the 800 and 1600 individual events.
Other firsts were recorded by Jordan Jablonski, 400; Jerzee Milner, 100m high hurdles;  and all three relay teams.
Team scoring was Chase Co. 147, McCook 62, Arapahoe 58, Lexington 48, Gothenburg 42, Ogallala 38, Minden 33, Southwest 30, Hitchcock Co. 23, Holdrege  20, Cambridge 12, Cozad 6 and Perkins Co. 5.
