Chase County boys now 7-2 on season

The Longhorns had two big wins last week against Dundy Co. Stratton (DCS) and Kimball.
With three more big games this week, CCS Head Coach Chris Bartels was happy to get those wins.
“Last week was a good week for us,” Bartels said. “We had some good practices and had a lot of momentum after those wins in Sidney.”

“The guys were really focused on beating Dundy County,” Bartels said. “That was all that really mattered.”
The seniors hadn’t won a game against the Tigers throughout their high school career, “so this was it for them,” Bartels said.
