CCS wrestling meets here Friday, Saturday

Matt Vlasin’s Chase County wrestlers won’t have to hit the road this weekend. Instead, they will play host Saturday to 14 teams coming to Imperial for the annual CCS invite.
On Friday night preceding the meet, Gordon-Rushville will come in a day early for a dual with the Longhorns.
The Longhorns faced G-R in the Ogallala duals Saturday, dropping a close one 36-24. Vlasin expects another close match Friday.
He said a couple of matches turned suddenly Saturday, tilting them towards G-R. Had those gone differently, Vlasin felt the ’Horns would have won the dual.
