CCS Volleyball drops match to Sedgwick Co.

    Tuesday, Sept. 16, the Longhorn Volleyball Team traveled to Sedgwick County Co. for a match with the Cougars.
    In the first set, it was back and forth until the end, with Sedgwick Co. pulling out the set win 25-23.
    The second set was very similar, only the Longhorns pulled off the 23-25 set win to even the match 1-1.
    In the third set, the Longhorns committed several unforced errors and fell, 25-16.  The Horns played better in the fourth set, but the Cougars took the win 25-20, winning the match and dropping the Longhorn record to 1-7.
    The next action for the varsity squad will be Sept. 23, when they welcome Sidney to town. Class B Sidney has a record of 6-4. There will be C, JV and Varsity games held starting at 4:00 p.m. MT.
