CCS girls wrestle in Ansley/Litchfield

    The female wrestlers from CCS traveled to the Ansley/Litchfield/FKC girls tournament on Saturday, Jan. 31. Five girls wrestled and placed ninth as a team. The Horns brought home a second third and fourth place finisher.
    Hayley Rusher’s undefeated season ended in the finals against Payton Whited of Ord. Rusher was leading the match 8-0 when Whited secured a pin 0:37 seconds into the third round, ending the perfect record for Rusher.
    Avory Cyboron finished in third at 130 pounds and Donna Valdez Chavira placed fourth at 140.
