CCS athletes start winter sports practice Monday

High school athletes at Chase County Schools will start practice for winter sports next week.
Winter sports include boys’ and girls’ basketball and wrestling.
Girls’ basketball head coach Mark Bottom said he has 22 girls out for the team.
They’ve been conditioning this week, “working on endurance and trying to wake up the basketball legs,” Bottom said.
Their first full week of practice will start on Monday.
