Broncos fall to Maywood/Hayes Center

    Friday, Feb. 14, the boys and girls basketball teams hosted the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves on the hardwood court.
The Broncos fell short in both games.
    In the girls game, it seemed that the Wolves best defense was their offense, holding the Broncos to just seven first half points while pouring in 42  of their own.
    The Wolves held W/P to singlr digit scoring in all four quarters of the game to take a lopsided 22-63 win.
    The boys game had only eight points scored in the first quarter, five by the Wolves and three by the Broncos.
    The Wolves heated up after the first quarter and pulled away from the Broncos to lead at the half, 12-22.
    The Broncos couldn’t close the gap in the second half, falling to the Wolves 30-58. No personal stats were available at press time.
