Braden Space among all-star game starters
Braden Space, a 2019 Chase County Schools graduate, was one of the five starters for the Black Team in Saturday’s North Platte Community College All-Star Basketball Game in North Platte. Space, above left, was the team’s second leading scorer in the Black’s win over the Gold Team, 76-74 in overtime. He showed why coaches picked him as a starter—he finished with 19 points, including five treys, a two-pointer and two crucial free throws in O.T. Other area players on the Black Team included Spencer Ross of Perkins County and Joel Maris, Dennis Cavanaugh and Caid Doetker, all of Wauneta-Palisade. (Johnson Publications photo)
