Boys place third in SPVA basketball tourney

    The Longhorn boys’ varsity team now sit 11-3 on the season after a loss and a win in the SPVA tournament last week.
    Chase County went into the tournament as the No. 1 seed.
Hershey    
    Going up against then 9-4, No. 4 seed Hershey, CCS Head Coach Chris Bartels knew the Panthers would be giving their best shot.
    “They’re a well-coached basketball team,” Bartels said. “I thought we played hard, but we just couldn’t make shots.”
