Annual ‘Slice Fore Life’ sign-up underway

The Chase County Hospital Foundation is hosting its 13th  annual “Slice Fore Life” golf tournament June 27 at the Imperial Country Club with a variety of challenges and prizes for participants.
The cost of entering the tournament is $300 per team of four or $75 per golfer.

“After the 19th, the cost per person goes up to $100 per person,” she said.
Some of the bonuses for golfers will be a free continental breakfast and lunch and Chamber Bucks for dinner downtown.
Each participant will also receive a personal gift, Hrcka said.
There will be flag prizes and flight prizes during the tournament
 One of the prizes will be a “2-fer” on Hole #2.
“The male and female golfer who gets closest to the pin from tee off will receive $375 each,” she said.
These prizes are sponsored by Hays Companies.
There will aslo be a Dixson Challenge on a par-3 hole.
A donation of $10 will get the golfer a “world-class” brand golf ball, a mulligan and a birdie.
A Relias Challenge for a $20 donation will be played on a par-4 hole.
“Winnings at this hole will be a surprise,” said Hrcka.
Imperial Country Ford is sponsoring a Hole-in-One prize of $5,000.
The limit for the tournament is 18 teams of four people.
“Right now, we have 15 and half teams,” Hrcka said.
Registration the day of the tournament will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start a 9 a.m.
“Beginning at 10 a.m. on the 27th, there will be an online auction held via Facebook Live,” Hrcka said.
This auction will continue until 10 a.m. on July 4.
All proceeds will go toward the purchase of new digital radiology equipment, she said.
