‘Turtles’ Pony team captures second in league tournament

season Tri-County League Tournament in Sutherland played June 28 to July 1. In their opener, Imperial, the No. 5 seed, defeated No. 4 seed Sutherland in a come-from-behind win, 4-3, then downed top-seeded Grant #1 by a 4-1 score to advance to the finals. In the championship game, Imperial lost 3-1 to No. 2 seed Ogallala #2.
