W/P grade school holds spelling bee

Last week, W/P 1-8 grades held the annual spelling bee. These are the results of the written placers:
First grade: 1. Sophia Torres, 2. Addison Wright, 3. Tinley Kerchal.
Second grade: 1. Landry Pollman, 2. Kannon Frecks, 3. Axel Einspahr.
Third grade: 1. Hadley Ott, 2. Dayton Monahan, Layton Moe.
Fourth grade: 1. Colbie Hilbert, 2. Jase Cox, 3. Milly West.
Fifth grade: 1. Dane Johanson, 2. Levi Walker, 3. Ryatt Richardson.
Sith grade: 1. Creighton Frecks, 2. Sofia Marquezhoyos, 3. Cylys Fields.
Seventh Grade: 1. Barrett Frecks, 2. Caleb Wasson, 3. Riley Einapahr.
Eighth grade: 1. Natalie Walker, 2. Emiliano Marquezhoyos, 3. Amelia Monnahan.
In the oral competition, Natalie Walker was the champion speller and qualified to participate in the State spelling bee competition held in Omaha, Saturday March 15. Emiliano Marquezhoyos placed second and is the alternate for the state spelling bee if Natalie is unable to attend.
The four other participants in the oral competition and their places are: 3. Barrett Frecks, 4. Caleb Wasson, 5. Creighton Frecks and 6. Sofia Marquezhoyos.
