Technology coordinator hired for CCS; all open positions now filled
One of the last positions to fill for the 2020-21 year at Chase County Schools happened at Tuesday night’s board of education meeting.
Jeff Einspahr of Sidney received a 9-0 vote from the CCS board as the school’s new technology coordinator.
He replaces Lori Klooz, who resigned earlier this year.
Supt. Larry Lambert said he believes Einspahr will be a very good addition to CCS and recommended his hiring.
Einspahr is currently working for the Potter-Dix Public Schools, where he’s been employed since 2011. Since 2014, he’s served as the school’s technology coordinator, and added duties as media specialist for the 2019-20 year.
He’s also held head and assistant basketball coaching positions for both boys and girls, and served as a substitute teacher from 2013-14.
Einspahr earned a B.A. degree in business information systems from Chadron State College in 2014, graduating cum laude.
He added transitional certification in 2016 from the University of Nebraska-Kearney (grade 6-12 basic business) and has been enrolled in the Media Specialist Program at UNK since August.
