Show choir named outstanding group at Harvard

The 9th St. Singers came away from their latest competition with another outstanding performance award.
The Chase County Schools’ 9th St. Singers competed March 6 at the Harvard Cardinal and Black Show Choir Competition at Harvard High School.
Fifteen groups from classes C and D competed in two divisions for the event.
The 9th St. Singers competed in Division 1, which consisted of Class C schools, with Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) enrollment of 100 or more.
There were eight schools in Division 1 at the Harvard competition.
The 9th St. Singers received first place in Division 1 and “Best Vocals.”
