Seniors win trenchball tournament, three years running
The seniors won the annual trenchball tournament at Chase County Schools on Friday. Every year on the last day of school before Christmas break, CCS holds a trenchball tournament for students and faculty. “We’ve been doing the tournament since 1992,” PE teacher Dan Lenners, who also coordinates the tourney, said. There were a total of seven teams competing this year. The juniors came in second, followed by the sophomores.
