Quiz Bowl team competes at SPVA meet

The Chase County Schools (CCS) Quiz Bowl team was supposed to compete at the ESU 15 and SPVA meets last month
The ESU meet was still held, but CCS was unable to attend due to a snow day for the school.
The SPVA meet was rescheduled for Monday in Bridgeport, which a CCS team did attend.
Other activities Monday made it difficult for all quiz bowl members to attend the SPVA meet.
“It was hard to get enough (students) to come,” quiz bowl coach Chelsea Zuege said.
“I have quite a few gone for FCCLA convention, too.”
Only six of the 16 students on the team competed on Monday.
The team ended up going 0-5 for the day.
